The compile command

Checks and compiles solution artifacts into a single file.

Usage

mebt compile <options> source-directory [output-file]

Parameters

Parameter Description
source-directory (required) The path to the folder that contains the solution artifacts to compile.
output-file The optional custom name (complete with its .mes extension) and path for the solution compilation file. The default name of the output file is the name of the current directory. If a path is supplied, it must point to an existing directory.

Modifiers

Modifier Description
--no-header If this option is specified, the command-line interface will not display the header message describing the operation in progress, or the result message when it is finished.

Remarks

The command checks the solution artifact files in the specified folder, and compiles them into a single .mes extension solution compilation file. If the command encounters any errors in the solution artifacts, the relevant error messages are displayed in the command-line interface, and the compilation file will not be created.

The command searches the specified directory recursively, including any subfolders.

The command ignores the files in the source directory whose file extension does not match any workflow solution artifact extension.
