Type definition

Defines the data type of a scalar element or a field of an element in the integration message.

Usage

of type type [values allowed-values]

Parameters

Parameter	Description
type (required)	The data type of the element, text node, or attribute. Allowed values are `int`, `string with whitespace`, `string without whitespace`, `float`, `dtl`, and `dtu`.
allowed-values	A space-separated list of value literals that defines every allowed value for attributes or scalar elements.

Remarks

A list of the available types:

int: 32-bit signed integer

float: 64-bit double-precision floating point number

string with whitespace: a string, including leading and trailing whitespace characters

string without whitespace: a sequence of Unicode characters with leading and trailing whitespace characters removed.
