This tutorial is as good a place to start the Mobilengine tutorials as any. However, you'll need the solution artifacts that were created in earlier tutorials for the code in this section to work. You'll find links to the necessary artifacts when you come to them.
The workflow solution that you've created for the Rocky Jupiter people is complete. Before you publish the finished product, though, you'll add the company branding to the administration interface, and style the mobile forms in the solution to match the company color scheme. You'll make the forms both pleasing to look at and easier to use.
Basic branding for our fictional company
You've been given a basic logo to include in the workflow solution: it's inspired by the Great Red Spot storm system in planet Jupiter's atmosphere, and it's easy to stencil on the sides of trucks and cargo containers.
The Mobilengine Backoffice also lets clients specify a custom background image for their mobile apps. For this purpose, Rocky Jupiter have chosen an image of stacks of folded stadium chairs that is supposed to recall some package cushioning, and matches the company color scheme in the logo.
Uploading a logo and a custom mobile client background image
The Mobilengine Backoffice lets developers and administrator-level users edit the names of the companies that have been set up on the server, and upload a logo as well as a custom background image for the company. On the Backoffice site, go to the → screen, and use the upload links to browse for and set the logo and the background image.
The maximum size for the logo is 100 KB. The maximum size for the background image is 1 MB. An aspect ratio of 16:9 is recommended for both images.
Don't forget to click the Save link before you navigate away from the page, to store your changes.
The logo that you upload will show up in the header of both the Backoffice and the Webforms websites - in the top left corner of the screen, opposite the Mobilengine logo.
Both the background image and the company logo will be displayed to the users of the mobile app whenever they need to log back into the app to access their forms.
