The getyear() function

Extracts the year portion as a string from a dtl value.

Usage

GETYEAR(date)

Parameters

Parameter Type Description
date (required) dtl The datetime value whose year portion you need.

Returns

The four-digit year portion of the argument as a string.

Sample

getYearSample.fls.xml

...
<textview label="The current year is "
  text='{GETYEAR(sysp.dtlFormOpen)}'/>
...
This textview displays the year portion of the current date
